Game Day

Once again we were short players and at 100 degrees out, it wasn't that surprising. Dave, my all-star, came to the rescue.
My trainer, Denise, came to watch the game and she brought us a whole cheering section. She and her daughter, Jessica, took over photography and did a GREAT job!

Of course, because we were short players, we quickly recruited Denise's husband, Bob, to fill in as catcher and what a smart decision that was. He clearly was the MVP with several runs, injuring himself for an out and catching a few pop ups at home plate!

I ran my heart out and the first baseman dropped the ball. It was the start to my first of two runs in the game.

The other team's third baseman, was nice enough to let Bob use his mitt after I convinced him that we weren't that good and there was no chance that our team would beat his team............ I told him after the game i was probably as surprised as him that we did beat them!!!!!!!
