Off Road Vehicle FUN!!!

On Sunday, Dave's friend Todd, invited Dave and I to join him at a local ORV park. We were very excited to check it out.

When you see a sign like this, you know your going to have a good time

Dave noticed some issues with the Bronco before we left, so instead of backing out, He decided he would take his Xterra

We all stopped to watch some cars get Un-Stuck

The Cherokee was towed out with a four wheeler and had minimal damage and was able to continue on the trails

This Toyota, wasn't so lucky. After several attempts to pull him free, even breaking someones tow strap, he was pulled out with a winch and the Toyota limped back to the parking lot, and the driver had to be a passenger in his friend's truck for the rest of the day.

We start our own adventures going through the trails

Intermediate trail # 17

What is everyone parked for?

What is so interesting to Dave and Jake?

Watching this Jeep go Rock climbing

We pit stopped for some hot dogs, and the only thing muddy on the Xterra, were the tires

Muddin'....... does it get any better?

This 11 year old boy, could keep up with the big boys, and even out drove some of them...

hehehehehe Todd got stuck in a tire.... hehehehehe

That puddle didn't look so bad, so Todd ventured in.

AND GOT STUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Here he is getting pulled out...

I don't know if he was showing off, but the red truck went in the same puddle, after freeing Todd

The Owner of the park, knowing we had a completely stock '07 Nissan Xterra warned us about only one trail would give us trouble..... The Twister. After seeing Todd climb it Dave thought he would give it a try..........

What did he get for ignoring the advice of the owner?

A big ol' dent. He got part way up the hill, but kept slipping on some mud, when he tried to back down the hill, the mud slipped him into a tree.

The car got a little muddy from the day, too.

Dave won't be benched for long, he is planning another trip in early 2009. He hopes to trailer the Bronco and show those boys how it is REALLY done.

Cookies

When David was growing up his Grandma Deurloo every Christmas would invite all the grandchildren over to decorate Christmas cookies. When she was unable to continue the tradition, Dave's sister Laura hosted it at her house. I think it was a super fun think to do so I started it her down south, but obviously no with my grandchildren. ;)

My friend Lisa, from work, brought a car full when she arrived. Lisa's Mother and Lisa's second granddaughter, Emma enjoy all the sugar.

Denise, my personal trainer and good friend, brought her granddaughter Kloe and her husband Bob (not pictured)

Here I am making sure everyone is having a good time

Dave was wore out after having to make all the frosting, so he took a pizza break!

Lisa's First granddaughter, Lexie

Kloe, after she changed to get her picture taken with Santa

Juan Miguel arrived, missing his 2 front teeth!! but it didn't slow him down, from eating his creations.
