Walking in Memphis

Ever since my Mom had heard Walking in Memphis (video below) she has wanted to visit Memphis, TN.
This past week Dave and I were in Jackson, TN (about an hour away from Memphis), looooooooong story short we ended up having to travel to Memphis and I told Dave we HAD to get a picture of me walking in Memphis for my Mom. As Fate would have it on the way into the restaurant Dave forgot to bring in the camera. Then after dinner (& a few too many cocktails) I just wanted to get back to the hotel and sleep, but Dave insisted we get the pics for Mom. He left to get the camera in the truck and I waited. Then "Walking in Memphis" started to play over the loud speakers and I new I NEEDED to get the pictures me me walking in Memphis.

Turkey Day

This year my contribution to Thanksgiving Dinner at Joe and Jessica's was PIE. I (for the first time EVER) made homemade pie with homemade crust!!! (pumpkin above, apple below)

Game Night!!

A few weekends ago, Dave and I hosted Game Night and we had so much fun!!!

Dave and Kenna were there, along with

Gary and Christy

We played, 10,000; Catch Phrase; Apples to Apples; and Pictionary just to name a few.

We all brought an appetizer to share and Gary made Hairy Bellies and Dave's mango coconut concoction, everyone was having a good time!

Last week my good friend Stacie was in the neighborhood and I asked her to stop by so her girl, Lilly can meet our new girl, Anna.

With two miniature horses to keep under control, Dave thought it would help if he had a glass of wine, or two!

Introducing Anna!!!

We got a new puppy!!!! Kenna's son has decided to re-enlist and unfortunately can't take his 12 week old Great Dane with him. It took just one visit with Jake for Dave to decided to adopt her.

Anna, short for Anastasia, is completely in love with Jake, she follows him around every where.

Now you know she is ours!!!

I love that she practically sleeps all day, she clearly is her mother's daughter!
